Draw Details: 40000 premium prize bond draw result today

The draw was conducted on March 11, 2024 (Monday) at 9:00 A.M at the State Bank of Pakistan, SBP BSC (Bank), Faisalabad.

  • President of the Draw:  Mr. Rai Saif Ur Rehman Bhatti, Advocate High Court, Ex-Secretary District Bar Association, Faisalabad, presided over the draw event.
  • Single Common Draw: The draw applied a single common draw system to all the issued series.
  • Total Series: Three (3) series of Rs. 40,000/- denomination Premium Prize Bonds currently in circulation, namely series “A” to “C,” sold up to January 9, 2024, were included in this draw.
  • Total No. of Prizes: 1992 prizes in 3 series, with 664 prizes in each series.

Prize Distribution

The prizes were distributed as follows:

  • First Prize: 03 prizes of Rs. 80,000,000/- each (01 Prize in each series)
  • Second Prize: 09 prizes of Rs. 30,000,000/- each (03 Prizes in each series)
  • Third Prize: 1980 prizes of Rs. 500,000/- each (660 Prizes in each series)

  • Purchase Information: To buy premium prize bonds, visit any state bank, banking services corporation (Bank). Scheduled banks are authorized for the sale, with additional charges for processing prize money claims.

  • Photocopy of the NIC of the next of kin
  • The contact number of the next of kin
  • Bank account details, including IBAN (International Bank Account Number), are 24 digits starting from PK.

How to Buy National Prize Bonds

For national prize bonds:

  • Visit any state bank, Banking Services Corporation (Bank).
  • Bring your original National Identity Card and a copy of your NIC.
  • Provide bank account details, including IBAN.

Claiming Prize Money

If you’re a lucky winner, follow these steps:

  1. Visit any SBP BSC offices.
  2. Bring your original NIC and a copy.
  3. Provide bank account details, including IBAN.
  4. Fill out the provided form (download here).
  5. Submit the form to the concerned department.
  6. Prize money will be credited to your bank account on the same day, with the first or second prize payments taking 10 to 15 working days.

Filer vs. Nonfiler Taxation

The government imposes a fixed tax on prize money, with better rates for filers compared to non-filers.

  • Tax Rates:
    • Filer: 15%
    • Non-filer: 30%

    • First Prize:
      • Filer: Rs. 68,000,000/-
      • Non-filer: Rs. 56,000,000/-
    • Second Prize:

      • Non-filer: Rs. 350,000/-

Note: The face value of the prize bond of Rs. 40,000 is not added to the amount of prize money for either the first, second, or third prize, for both filers and non-filers.
